AGAIN THIS YEAR: USA Hockey and Minnesota Hockey are now requiring on line registration. In prior years, Alexandria Hockey Association would send in your child's registration to these two groups. Now parents/guardians need to go on line and register your child(ren). You will need to do this before you can register your child(ren) with the Alexandria Hockey Association on Sept. 8th or 10th. Follow the steps below for on line registration:
- Go to www.usahockey.com - under "player" click on "register online" -Then click the large red box "Register Now" to the right of the screen in the sky blue square.
- You must be 18 years of age to process a registration...check the box that acknowledges that YOU are 18 or older.
- Choose member type (Ice Players & Coaches)
- Follow the prompts...fill in all data correctly. Make sure you enter your child's name exactly as it appears on their birth certificate (first name, middle initial, last name). Name on registration MUST be the same as on their birth certificate.
- Process payment - Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express (credit or debit card). A Visa gift card will also work if you don't have a credit or debit card.
- At completion of on line registration, you will be able to print a confirmation page. You will need to bring this (or a copy of it) in to complete your registration with the Alexandria Hockey Association on September 8th or 10th.
Each participant will need to pay the $30 USA Hockey Fee if age 7 or older. The USA Hockey fee is waived for ages 6 and younger (birth year 2005). All participants regardless of age will also need to pay the $10 Minnesota Hockey Fee (Affiliate Fee).
AAHA will need a copy of your child's birth certificate if you haven't turned one in before. This MUST be a certificate issued by a government agency (state, county) NOT a hospital certificate. We need a copy of ALL skater's birth certificates on file, not just traveling teams!
